First Nominee - A Lady Amongst Mountains

Ashley took a huge leap of faith about six (I think) years ago. She quit her 9-5 job to follow her passion, her painting business "Bless Your Art Designs." She prayed fervently about the decision and at the same time was scared to death. She knew that this decision ultimately allowed her to be more present for her growing family. Through much perseverance, Ashley has grown her business by leaps and bounds. She has a successful Etsy shop, online painting groups that she manages, and a strong social media presence. Sometimes it was hard and she wanted to quit, but she has always put her faith in God and kept going. Her hard work and dedication inspire me. And I’m sure any aspiring female artist in Eastern Kentucky who follows her is also inspired. Ashley has proven that it is possible to follow your dreams and be successful!

Ashley and I have been friends since our boys became friends in Kindergarten (now they are seniors). We have spent countless hours together at the ball field (and elsewhere) over the years. Ashley is talented, selfless, and humble and is very deserving of any recognition she may receive! The loves of Ashley’s life are her husband, Jerole, their four sons- Damani (wife Sydney, children Stevie, and Avery), Cameron, Jordan, and Kyron, her Pop, and her big ole fur baby, Louie.
