Angela Briggs is a dental assisting professor at Big Sandy Community & Technical College. She has the kindest spirit, a smile that will brighten your day, and she believes in you even when you don’t believe in yourself. She is one of those people you notice as soon as she enters a room; she lights it up. She has the kindest spirit. She loves God and she loves people. I don’t think she knows a stranger. She would help anyone who needed it, whether they asked or not. I wouldn’t have made it through dental assisting school without her kind heart and her refusal to allow me to give up when things got hard. She really is one of the most hardworking people I know.
These photos sum up Angela Briggs aka “Ms Briggs.” Though she has hit a few rough patches throughout her life, She is the most joyous, wonderful human being I’ve ever known. She had a son at a young age and put herself through dental assisting and hygiene school, while working full-time, as a single mother, to make a better life for her son. Today she is a registered dental hygienist and helps run the dental assisting program at Big Sandy Community & Technical College. She also has a grandson whom she loves dearly. She is a special person. I’m blessed to be able to call her my friend.
